微RNA在恶性胸膜间皮瘤发生发展中的作用机制研究进展

微RNA(microRNA,miRNA)是近年来发现的最短的内源性非编码RN A(non-coding RNAs,ncRNA)之一,普遍认为其通过调节信使RNA(messenger RNA,mRNA)表达水平来发挥作用,主要功能体现在参与调节生物个体发育、细胞增殖与分化、肿瘤的发生发展等多种病理和生理过程中.miRNA在调控癌基因、抑癌基因的表达和信号通路的活性过程中以及在恶性胸膜间皮瘤(malignant pleural mesothelioma,MPM)发生和发展中发挥着重要的作用.本综述对miRNA的生成和miRNA的功能及在MPM发生发展过程中发挥促癌作用和肿瘤抑制作用的相关miRNA进行总结和归纳,以期为MPM的临床诊断以及治疗提供理论参考.
Research Progress on the Mechanism of MicroRNA in the Tumorigenesis and Development of Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma
MicroRNA(miRNA)is one of the shortest endogenous non-coding RNAs(ncRNA)discovered in recent years.It is widely believed that they play a role by regulating messenger RNA(mRNA)expression levels,and their main functions are reflected in regulating various pathological and physiological processes such as individual development,cell proliferation and differentiation,and tumor occur-rence and development.miRNA plays an important role in the regulation of the expression of oncogenes,tumor suppressor genes,and the activity of signaling pathways,as well as in the occurrence and development of malignant pleural mesothelioma(MPM).This review sum-marizes the generation and function of miRNA,as well as the relevant miRNA that plays tumor promotional and tumor suppressive role in the occurrence and development of MPM,in order to provide theoretical reference for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of MPM.
