Regarding the newly built Shanghai Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention,the overview and characteristics of the Biosafety Level 3 Laboratory of the center are described and the key elements in its electrical design are analyzed,including laboratory power supply and distribution deign,principles for electrical pipeline laying,electrical fire protection design,standby power supply for process equipment and auxiliary equipment(supply/exhaust fan,water treatment equipment,etc.)and the key points in automatic control.
