Selection and Analysis of Residual Current Operated Protective Devices for Construction Sites
This paper introduces the origin,development and working principle of residual current operated protective devices,as well as their application in protection against electric shock.It analyzes issues related to the selection and application of residual current operated protective devices in China's Standard for Safety of Temporary Electricity Use at Construction Site of Building and Municipal Engineering(JGJ/T 46-2024),clarifying that the concept of 30 mA·s is outdated.The production and application of residual current operated protective devices in China should comply with national standards.The selectivity between upstream and downstream residual current operated protective devices should be consistent with national standards,and residual current operated protective devices should be designed to avoid natural leakage currents.
