Effect of Urban Green Pathes on the Thermal Environment of Surroundings:A Case Study in Taiyuan
In order to study the effect of urban green patches to surrounding thermal environment, this paper takes Taiyuan city as an example, with the aid of GIS, RS tools, employing remote sensing image of Taiyuan city for land surface temperature retrieved, and selecting green patches by using the method of artificial digital. We research the relationship of the green patches' average temperature among area, perimeter, shape index and vegetation coverage, as well as the influence of green patches to the thermal environment. Studies shows that:①The temperature of the green patches is negatively related with area, perimeter and vegetation coverage. There is not much relation with shape index; ②The effect of urban green patches to the surrounding temperature mainly concentrate on about 60 meters, the influence will be slightly enlarged while area, vegetation coverage are high value. The construction of urban green land should fully consider the effect of green patches to the surrounding environment, and decorate the green patches as reasonably as possible.
