Application and Research of Transient Electromagnetic Detection Technology in Xiaojihan Coal Mine
Coal,as an important pillar of China's national economy, faces complex and variable geological characteristics in deep mining, including high ground stress, structural stress changes, and gradient differences, which lead to hazardous factors in the underground environment, especially water disasters.Transient electromagnetic detection technology has made significant progress in the past 20 years and has become a key means of preventing and controlling water in coal mines. This study used the transient electromagnetic method in mines to investigate in detail the water content of the coal seam roof and floor in a specific coal seam area of Xiaojihan Coal Mine.Through comprehensive analysis of transient electromagnetic resistivity data,we have successfully drawn contour section and plan maps, and conducted geological inference to clarify the distribution of coal seams and upper and lower aquifers. The research results show that the water filling intensity of coal mines is relatively high, and the main water source is confined water from the fractures of the roof sandstone. The application of transient electromagnetic method not only accurately defines the gathering area of pressurized water on the roof and floor, but also provides a solid basis for the scientific layout of mining and drainage engineering, demonstrating the efficiency and accuracy of this technology in practical applications.
