Influence of Admixtures on the Leaching Characteristics of Heavy Metals in Cement Concrete
It is an effective way of environmental protection and resource utilization to apply the technology of cooperative disposal of solid waste in cement kiln to cement production. However, some heavy metals in solid waste will enter the cement through clinker, and there is a potential risk of release or leaching during the use of cement products. In order to reduce the amount of heavy metal leaching in cement concrete under carbonization, the influence of mineral admixtures on the leaching performance of heavy metals was studied. The results show that fly ash and slag as mineral admixtures can optimize the microstructure of concrete, form an amorphous composite hydroxide precipitation containing Cr and Ca in the concrete, and greatly reduce the leaching amount of Cr and Cr6+,which is less than the Class V surface water limit of GB 3838-2002.
