Falling Control Technology for Small Radius High Drop Curved Steel Box Girder
The falling beam in jacking construction refers to the process of pushing the continuous beam into place, removing the guide beam, lifting the main beam, removing the temporary sliding device during top pushing, and then uniformly lowering and placing the main beam on the permanent support. The control of beam drop is a key factor affecting the success or failure of the entire bridge construction control for bridges constructed using the top-down method. When the beam is dropped, all supports should be dropped synchronously, because the beam body is already a continuous system. If there is any deviation in the vertical displacement of the main beam, that is,if the beams are not dropped synchronously at all supports, additional internal forces will be generated inside the beam. Therefore,in response to the high drop height of the curved steel box girder in this project after the top push is completed,a control study based on asynchronous drop of the girder is carried out to explore the limit value of asynchronous drop of the girder, propose drop control indicators, and optimize the drop construction plan.
