Management of Highway Pavement Pre Maintenance and Repair Engineering
Since the beginning of the 21st century,China's transportation industry has made rapid progress,with an increasing number of kilometers and a significant increase in traffic volume and so on,leading to a peak period of highway maintenance work in China.According to the 5-10 year period for major and medium repairs,the highways built in the past decade will enter an intensive maintenance period and require concentrated major and medium repairs.In the early stages of China's highway construction,the focus was on infrastructure development and efforts were made to construct the country's highway network.Nowadays,the focus of highway construction has shifted to preventive maintenance,followed by new construction.Taking the preventive maintenance and repair project of ultra-thin film abrasion layer on a certain expressway pavement in Liaoning Province in 2023 as an example,this article discusses the engineering management in the preventive maintenance and repair project of expressway pavement from the perspective of supervision and management.
