This article fully considers the development positioning of the project area and conducts a needs analysis when studying the H.Mak-Hiao River governance plan in Vientiane,Laos,including river regulation needs,modern agricultural development needs,water source guarantee needs,and urban development planning needs.Based on this,the planning ideas and plans for H.Mak-Hiao River governance are proposed,including river regulation planning,water source guarantee planning,modern agricultural development planning,and urban planning,and preliminary feasibility analysis is carried out to provide some basis for the Lao government to carry out river governance and surrounding area development.
