Research on the Countermeasures for Dealing with the Hazards of Saline Soil to Highways
The design and maintenance of roads in saline soil areas are key to ensuring road safety,stability,and durability.In the design phase,attention should be paid to the improvement of the drainage system,the selection of pavement materials,and the design of structural layers to cope with the erosion and damage of saline soil to the highway.In terms of maintenance and upkeep,preventive maintenance measures should be implemented,and structural inspections and maintenance should be strengthened.Based on this,this article takes Jingzhong expressway as an example to analyze the harm mechanism of saline soil to highways.By comprehensively considering design,maintenance,and repair strategies,the performance and service life of highways in saline soil areas have been effectively improved,providing guarantees for regional economic development and people's travel.It also provides reference for the study of the harm of saline soil to highways.
