Application of Three Step Reserved Core Soil+Temporary Inverted Arch Method in Weak and Watery Surrounding Rock Tunnel
The geological conditions of the Dongfeng mountain tunnel are poor, and the construction safety risk of the shallow buried section of the V-grade watery and weak surrounding rock is high.During the excavation process of the auxiliary tunnel using the three step reserved core soil method, there were significant deformations such as convergence and settlement of the surrounding rock,as well as problems such as collapse of the tunnel face and cracking of the initial support, which cannot effectively ensure the safe advance of the tunnel. To ensure construction safety, strengthen the support effect during excavation, and reduce the convergence deformation of surrounding rock, the project optimized the three step reserved core soil method, forming the three step reserved core soil+temporary inverted arch method, and applied it in the Dongfeng mountain tunnel, thereby reducing the settlement of the tunnel surrounding rock arch top and the convergence of the surrounding rock, and improving the safety of tunnel excavation.
