美国国家标准与技术研究院先进测量实验室建设特点介绍

美国国家标准与技术研究院(NIST)是美国政府支持下最大的测量及标准化科学研究机构,为美国工业及经济发展提供强大的科技支撑,先进测量实验室(AML)是NIST最为重要的研究设施之一,该实验室建成精密受控的环境条件是科学实验成果准确性的基础保障。本文从实验室定位、建设特点及科研成果产出三方面阐述了AML的先进性,详细地介绍了实验室中洁净度、温湿度、隔振等环境指标。AML的高标准环境工艺为国际同行提供了重要的建设参考依据。
Abstract
The National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)is the largest measurement and standardization researchinstitution supported by the US government,which provides strongtechnical support for US industrial and economic development.TheAdvanced Measurement Laboratory(AML)is one of NIST’s mostimportant research facilities.The precisely controlled environmentalconditions in these labs is the basis to get accurate experimental results.This paper introduces AML from three aspects:laboratory target,construction characteristics and scientific research achievements andillustrates the environmental indicators such as cleanliness,temperatureand humidity,and vibration isolation in the laboratory.AML’s highstandard environmental process provides an important reference forinternational peers.
