Support unloading is the key step in the transformation of spatial structure from the construction phase to design phase.The unloading method will directly affect the safety of the structure as well as the stress conditions in service stage.In order to determine the reasonable unloading scheme for the steel structure roof support of large cantilevered stadium,firstly,some basic rules of removing temporary supports from steel roof support was presented and discussed;then,according to the structural stress characteristics of the steel structure roof of the stadium and the temporary support system arrangement,the zoning and multistage cyclic unloading method was selected.The integrated analysis model of stadium roof steel structure and temporary supports was established for the detailed analysis,and the data of support reaction,structural deformation,structural and support member stress during unloading process were obtained.The structural deformation obtained from numerical simulation was basically consistent with the field measured value.It is proved that it is a reasonable unloading method to unload the main truss support first and then the secondary truss support at each stage,The oscillation amplitude and peak value of the reaction force of temporary support and the stress of structural members can be effectively controlled during unloading process.
