Whole Process Construction Performance Evaluation for Large-Diameter Spherical High-Rise Supported Steel Structure Based on Structural Health Monitoring
A large-diameter spherical high-rise supported steel structure system is structurally monitored during the whole construction process using the data from a structural health monitoring system.A structural health monitoring system based on stress, strain, inclination displacement, and temperature sensors is established in accordance with the limit condition of structural design. When combined with the simulation analysis of the entire construction process of the structure, the stress and deformation of the components and the structural system in each construction stage are compared and evaluated, and the measurability of each construction stage is calculated. The safety of structural components and systems during the construction period is confirmed based on the results of the simulation analysis,in conjunction with the measured data gathered by the monitoring system. Also, the impact of environmental temperature on structural performance throughout the entire construction process is evaluated. The efficiency of structural health monitoring is exhibited on the construction control of specially shaped complex building structures.
