Repeated Comparative Experimental Study of Circular Turnover Type Temporary Stand Support Frames
The Olympic Winter Games Beijing actively responded to the call to take the road of green and sustainable development, using a large number of supporting frames for the construction of temporary stands or stages. In order to study whether the temporary stand support frame after the competition can be safely and reasonably used again, this paper takes the temporary stand support frame of the Soxhlet stainless steel bolt joint as the research object, designs and manufactures a full-scale model with 2 spans in both longitudinal and transverse directions and a span of 2 m,and carries out two tests. After the first horizontal loading test, the test frame was built outdoors and repeated after exposed in the long-term severe cold, wind and snow environment. The test was repeated again, and the overall structural deformation mode, mechanical properties and peak strain at typical positions under four different combinations of dead load and horizontal load were compared and analyzed. The results show that under the condition of dead load of 0.0 kN·m-2,0.5 kN·m-2,2.0 kN·m-2 and 3.5 kN·m-2,the experimental phenomena and deformation modes of the two test frame structures are basically the same, the difference of mechanical properties is within 5%,the difference of peak strain at typical positions is within 10%,and the cumulative damage is small. After the two tests, there was no obvious damage to the structure, and there was still a large safety reserve. Therefore, after experiencing severe cold, wind and snow for a long time, the temporary stand support frame can still be reused. The research work in this paper can provide some reference for the post-competition utilization of the temporary facilities of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing.
