Study on Payment Intention of Aging-friendly Regeneration Based on Double-bounded CVM
The payment intention of residents plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of aging-friendly regeneration in existing urban settlements.Based on the double-bounded contingent valuation method(double-bounded CVM),data were collected through questionnaires,and the payment intention and influencing factors for the aging-friendly regeneration of public spaces in existing urban settlements in Yangzhou City are explored by binary logistic regression analysis.The results revealed that approximately 58.62%of the respondents were willing to pay,with an average payment amount of 343.69 yuan per year per household.According to the survey data,the total value of the aging-friendly regeneration of public spaces in existing urban settlements in Yangzhou City in 2022 was estimated to be around 1134.21 million yuan.Payment intention was found to be associated with bidding value,educational level,income level,family status,outdoor activity frequency,and cognitive level.Understanding residents'payment intention can provide a basis for improving funding mechanisms and policy-making for aging-friendly regeneration,and promote more effective implementation to meet the demands arising from population aging.
