Consulting Project Performance Improvement Based on Life-cycle Engineering Consulting Team Boundary Spanning Behavior
The life-cycle engineering consulting team boundary spanning behavior becomes an important factor affecting the consulting project performance improvement.A concept model based on network structure,boundary spanning behavior to project performance was built,and an empirical research by SEM-PLS method was conducted to analyze the different mediating roles that detection behavior,coordination behavior,and ambassadorial behavior play in project performance improvement.The research results make up for the limitation of project performance improvement with the project bilateral governance structure in the past,providing a theoretical basis for the improvement path on project performance from the new perspective of network embeddedness.This research also provides a practical reference for the positioning of boundary-spanning behavior of consultancy enterprises to transform and upgrade their development.
