Differences in the Influence of Different Personality Traits on Proactive Hazard Perception Behavior Among Construction Workers
In order to enhance the initiative and foresight of construction workers'hazard perception behavior in a more specific manner,a theoretical model of big-five personality, psychological capital, and proactive hazard perception behavior was constructed.Through path test and Bootstrap methods, statistical analysis was conducted on the effective questionnaire data of 457 frontline construction workers to explore effective ways to enhance the proactive behavior of workers'hazard perception. The results indicate that in the dimension of active hazard detection, both agreeableness and conscientiousness have a positive impact, and the role of agreeableness is stronger; In the dimension of prospective hazard perception, the order of influence from strong to weak is conscientiousness, openness, extraversion and neuroticism.Among them, conscientiousness and extraversion have a positive impact, whereas openness and neuroticism have a negative impact;Psychological capital plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between big-five personality and proactive hazard perception behavior. The research results can provide theoretical support for managers to carry out differentiated proactive safety management.
