A Study on the Influence of Grassroots Managers'Emotional Performance on Construction Workers'Safety Behavior
To investigate the influence of grassroots managers'emotional performance on construction workers'safety behaviour,a theoretical model of the negative emotional performance of grassroots managers-construction workers'safety behaviour was constructed based on the theory of emotional contagion and the introduction of emotional contagion susceptibility as a mediating variable.An empirical analysis was conducted with 300 frontline construction workers as the respondents.The results show that:the negative emotional performance of grassroots managers negatively influences construction workers'safety behaviour;emotional contagion susceptibility plays a partly mediating role between the negative emotional performance of grassroots managers(pretence,contempt)and construction workers'safety behaviour,and between the negative emotional performance of grassroots managers(indifference)and construction worker safety behaviour.The results of the study can help construction companies trace the individual psychological influences on construction workers'safety behaviour and provide theoretical support for subsequent interventions to safety behavior cultivation.
