智慧城市建设对地区建筑业全要素生产率的影响研究

基于2007-2021年中国 203 个地级市面板数据,在测算地区建筑业全要素生产率的基础上,采用多期双重差分模型实证检验智慧城市建设对地区建筑业全要素生产率的影响.结果表明:智慧城市建设对地区建筑业全要素生产率有显著的正向促进作用且结果稳健;作用效果分地区来说,东部城市大于西部城市大于中部城市;作用效果分城市规模来说,特大城市及以上大于大城市及以下;机制检验表明,智慧城市建设通过技术创新效应与资源配置效应促进了地区建筑业全要素生产率的提升.
Study on the Influence of Smart City Construction on the Total Factor Productivity of Regional Construction Industry
Based on the panel data of 203 prefecture-level cities in China from 2007 to 2021,and on the basis of measuring the total factor productivity of the regional construction industry,this paper adopts a multi-period differential model to empirically-test the impact of smart city construction on the total factor productivity of the regional construction industry and further analyzes its mechanism.The empirical results show that:(1)the smart city construction has a significant positive promoting effect on the total factor productivity of the regional construction industry and the effect results are stable;(2)from the regional perspective,the promoting effect of smart city construction on eastern city is larger than that on the western city,and the effect on the western city is larger than that on the central city;(3)and in terms of city size,the promoting effect on the mega-cities and above are larger than that on the big cities and below.The mechanism test shows that smart city construction promotes the improvement of total factor productivity of regional construction industry through the effect of technological innovation and resource allocation.
