The Impact of Group Norms on Construction Workers'Unsafe Behavior Intentions
To explore the influence of group norms on the unsafe behavior intention of construction workers,a total of 250 frontline construction workers from two projects in Tianjin were taken as the research object.By using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 24.0 software,we constructed a structural equation model of the influence of group norms on the unsafe behavior intention of construction workers. The results show that the descriptive norms have direct and indirect effects on the unsafe behavior intention of construction workers. The injunctive norms have indirect effects on the unsafe behavior intention of construction workers, and the intermediate variables are group pressure and behavior attitude. The construction workers'behavior intention guidance countermeasures are proposed, including improving the safety training system by combining the characteristics of workers's groups, making reasonable use of group pressure to eliminate the undesirable demonstration role, exerting the positive group effects, enhancing workers'group identity, improving community safety standards, and raising workers'safety awareness,so as to reduce workers'unsafe behavior intentions, regulate workers'behavior, and improve project safety performance.
