Analysis on the Impact of Digital Economy on High-quality Development of Construction Industry
Based on the data related to digital economy and construction industry in 31 provincial administrative regions of China from 2013 to 2021,this research used partial least squares structural equation model to construct mediating effect model and test relationship and mechanism among digital economy,scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development of construction industry.The findings are as follows:From the perspective of the whole country,digital economy has a significant promoting effect on the level of scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development of construction industry;Digital economy can indirectly boost high-quality development of construction industry by improving the level of scientific and technological innovation;The level of scientific and technological innovation plays a partial intermediary role between digital economy and high-quality development of construction industry.The conclusion is still valid after a series of robustness tests.There is regional heterogeneity in the impact of digital economy on high-quality development of construction industry.Specifically,the indirect effect of digital economy on high-quality development of construction industry through scientific and technological innovation in eastern region is not obvious.Finally,based on the above research content,specific suggestions are put forward for digital economy to boost high-quality development of construction industry.
