Study on the Influencing Factors of International Construction Supply Chain Resilience Based on DEMATEL-ISM
In the context of a volatile and complex business environment, the operation of international construction supply chains is susceptible to shocks, which can result in supply chain disruption.Consequently, the construction of a resilient supply chain is of great significance for the implementation of international construction projects and the maintenance of the competitiveness of international construction enterprises.A total of 18 main factors of resilience of international construction supply chains were identified through a comprehensive literature analysis, questionnaire survey, and expert interviews.A DEMATEL-ISM model was constructed to analyze the internal logic of each factor and its importance to the resilience of international construction supply chains. The research indicates that the following factors are important in determining the resilience of an international construction supply chain:strategic cooperation level, partner reputation, advantageous conditions of the contract, supply chain experience mining,multi-business diversification, supply chain quality control, preset safety stock, multiple sourcing, and transportation flexibility.Consequently, the relevant strategies to enhance the resilience of the international construction supply chain are proposed, thereby providing a theoretical foundation for the management of such chains.
