Survey on Knowledge Requirements of Undergraduates in Engineering Management in the Background of Intelligent Construction
With the rapid development of intelligent construction, the content of engineering management is rapidly changing, and there is an urgent need to explore the resulting changes in the knowledge requirements of undergraduate-level personnel in construction management. In order to analyze the changes in demand,a questionnaire survey of intelligent construction-related enterprises was conducted in this study.A total of 102 valid questionnaires were obtained, covering more than 40 enterprises. The results show that the cumulative proportions of"needed and very needed"in construction fundamentals, traditional construction management,BIM,artificial intelligence and big data, and factory production management are 90.19%,87.25%,80.39%,75.49%,and 75.49%,respectively.It is suggested that construction management majors in universities should focus on imparting the above-mentioned types of knowledge.Currently,in order to meet the knowledge needs of factory production management, there is an urgent need for universities and industry units to jointly develop relevant textbooks. The results of the study can provide a key basis for revising the training program for undergraduate engineering management students in universities in the context of intelligent construction.
