To examine the influence of digital transformations on the total factor productivity of construction companies,the data of A-share listed construction enterprises from 2014 to 2022 were selected and the baseline regression model was used for empirical testing.The findings indicate that the implementation of digital transformation has an obvious promoting effect on the improvement of total factor productivity of construction enterprises,and this promotion effect has obvious differences in the improvement effect of total factor productivity of different types of construction enterprises.Specifically,digital transformation has a more pronounced effect on TFP enhancement for non-state-owned,small-scale,eastern and growth-oriented construction enterprises,while for state-owned,large-scale,central and western,mature and declining construction enterprises,its influence on driving the improvement of their total factor productivity is not obvious.
