Risk Assessment of a Close Spaced Shield Construction Based on Cloud Modeling
Compared with the conventional shield construction, the construction of the rearward tunnel in close spaced shield construction poses not only heightens difficulty and risk but also causes the structural deformation and displacement of the existing tunnel and may jeopardize the safety of the existing tunnel. Therefore,it is necessary to identify and evaluate the risk of the close spaced shield construction to provide support for formulating control measures. This paper draws upon the shield construction case in the proximity of the densely spaced segment within the exceptionally large-diameter tunnel spanning the river at San yang Road of City Railway Transit Line 7.The typical risk indicators are concluded based on the engineering features of this project, the weights of these indicators are determined by utilizing the entropy weighting method, and each risk is assessed through the application of the cloud model evaluation method. In actual construction, targeted measures are taken in combination with the assessment level to ensure the safety of construction. The effectiveness and feasibility of the used method are also verified. This paper can provide reference for the risk assessment of similar projects.
