Research on the Influencing Mechanisms of Decision-Making Conflict of Old Neighborhood Renovation Based on SEM
This research aims to reduce decision-making conflicts and optimize the process of making renovation plans for old districts. An index system was built based on the entire decision-making process in old district renovation projects, including factors from four aspects:policy environment, interest subjects,decision-making mode, and public participation process.Empirical analysis was conducted based on structural equation modeling. The findings demonstrate that all four types of factors have significant impact on reducing decision-making conflict:the policy environment has a fundamental influence;interest subjects and the public participation process directly causes conflict;the decision-making mode indirectly causes conflict;and the degree of influence of each factor varying. To lessen decision-making conflicts,it is important to increase the following factors:the public's willingness to engage, the transparency of the participatory process, the level of participation and the openness of government information.
