Research on the Dimensions of Public Perceived Value of Mega Projects Based on Social Media Comments
As a key platform for value creation,the success of mega projects depends not only on delivering project itself,but more importantly,the public's perception and recognition of the value of deliverables.The study took the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge as an example and the comments on Weibo platform as original research data.Web scraping technology and micro word cloud platform were adopted to collect and process the data.The micro word cloud was employed to analyze and classify the comments,and the dimensions of public perceived value based on social media comments was obtained facilitated by the grounded theory.The results indicate that the dimensions of public perceived value in the context of mega infrastructure projects primarily include five dimensions,namely service function value,social economic value,social value,emotional value,and cultural cognitive value.the conclusions provide new ideas for improving the quality of mega project service delivery and realizing its value management from the perspective of public perceived value.
