Deformation-failure characteristics and supporting method of mining tunnel roof in Buertai mine
Aiming at solving the problems of large destruction depth, severe deformation and frequent caving accidents of argillaceous rock mining tunnel roof, the secondary mining tunnel in Buertai mine was taken for research background, the deformation-failure characteristics and engineering controllability of rock mining tunnel roof were studied and analyzed by combining methods of field observation, numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. The results indicate that:during the second-time mining-influence period, the roof deformation and failure is severe, and the contribution to the control effect of roof deformation by increasing support strength is extremely limited. The roof convergence goes far beyond the anchor cable enduring ability, and the depth of roof rupture is about 4 m.With the existing technology,it is unattainable to restrict roof convergence by high strength bolting, and it is necessary to take the flexible supporting method which gives priority to the control of roof caving with sufficient anchorage range.Accordingly, the anchor extension device was designed, and the extension anchor engineering test was conducted. The test results indicate that this technology is able to prevent effectively the tunnel roof caving.
