Research on an inorganic modified conductive copolyester
Polyester is a commonly used term for polyester fiber, which has the advantages of high strength, easy cleaning, high dyeing fastness, mature technology, and low production cost.It is an ideal textile raw material, but its disadvantages are also obvious. Its molecular structure lacks hydrophilic groups,so the common moisture regain of fibers is low,and the static electricity generated by fiber friction is not easy to dissipate quickly,When the accu-mulated static electricity reaches a certain level,it will instantly break through the air and release sparks,endange-ring production safety. In this study, diatomaceous earth and sodium alginate were dispersed in ethylene glycol to prepare a moisture absorption modifier.A small amount of hydrophilic sulfonic acid groups were grafted onto the molecular chain to increase the moisture absorption rate of the fiber and reduce the volume specific resistance from the source.
