Preparation and application of a bio based sizing agent
A bio based epoxy sizing agent was synthesized using renewable natural biomass magnolol and itaconic acid as raw materials through a simple and efficient two-step method.The heat resistance,interface performance,and mechanical properties of carbon fiber composite materials were studied.The experimental results show that the bio based epoxy sizing agent has good storage stability and thermal stability,and the three-point bending and inter-layer shear of carbon fiber composite materials have increased by 33.2％and 36.2％,respectively.
