Research on the process of high-altitude gap lightweight polyester fiber
In the esterification condensation stage of the polymerization process, additives such as ultrafine diatoma-ceous earth are added to prepare a comfortable polyester melt.A certain proportion of water-soluble polyester is added to the aforementioned copolyesters, and a spinning component with irregular spray holes is used to spin poly-ester fibers with a cross shaped cross-section.Using a hot dilute alkaline solution, the water-soluble polyester in the aforementioned fibers is etched and dissolved, forming a high-altitude honeycomb state from the surface to the inte-rior of the fibers. These honeycomb like voids significantly reduce the density of the fibers, while also significantly increasing their breathability and moisture permeability. The research results indicate that the high-altitude gap pol-yester fibers manufactured by this process have excellent breathability and moisture conductivity, and the fabrics formed by the fibers are comfortable, fluffy, and lightweight.
