Study on the dehydration process of raw material crystalline sodium sulfide in the synthesis of PPS
To optimize the dehydration process of PPS synthesis raw materials and improve the dehydration effect,a single factor experiment was designed by studying the dehydration law of crystalline sodium sulfide raw materials un-der heating. The dehydration endpoint temperature, dehydration rate, and N-methylpyrrolidone(NMP)loss during the dehydration process were compared under different pressure conditions, and a dehydration process with low raw material loss and low power consumption was selected. The results showed that using-0.09 MPa vacuum dehydra-tion increased the dehydration rate by 43.7%,reduced NMP loss by 84.08%,and increased the yield of the syn-thesized product by 37.02%,with the best dehydration effect.
