The Influence of Wood Fiber Materials and Content on the Mechanical Properties of PVC Composite Materials
Rice husk powder,peanut shell powder,straw powder,and corn cob powder were used as PVC rein-forcement materials,and 16 types of wood plastic composites were selected with different contents and PVC ratios.Samples were prepared by injection molding method.The mechanical properties and influencing factors of PVC based wood plastic composite materials were studied.The results showed that the theoretical calculation value of bending modulus was higher than the measured value,and the trend of bending strength changing with wood powder content was consistent with the trend of measured bending modulus;The influencing factors of the mechanical prop-erties of composite materials are related to the type and content of wood powder.Research has shown that among 16 proportioned materials,wood plastic composites made from peanut shell powder with a content of 40%~50%and PVC with a content of 60%~50%have the best comprehensive mechanical properties.
