In order to investigate the bond strength and bond-slip properties of the checkered C-shaped encased steel-concrete with braces, and the effect of the pattern height of steel plate, concrete strength grade, the brace spacing, section width and flange form on the bond strength of specimens were taken into consideration,a total of 12 checkered C-shaped encased steel-concrete push-out specimens with braces were designed. The failure process,load-slip curves, strain of steel pipe distributed along the longitudinal direction and the characteristic bond strength of each specimen were analyzed;the calculation formula of characteristic bond strength was regressed statistically under the consideration of different effects. The experimental results show that increasing the pattern height is the most beneficial way to improve the bond strength;the characteristic bond strength increases with the increase of the concrete strength, and decreases with the increase of the section width-height ratio and brace spacing;under the same conditions, the bond performance of the specimens with the inward-bent flange is better than that of the specimens with the outward-bent flange. The regression formula of characteristic bond strength can well fit the test results.
