In order to study the vibration comfort of steel truss composite slab, the vertical vibration response experiment and finite element analysis of steel truss composite slab of a high-rise residential building were carried out.The vertical vibration response of the steel truss composite slab under four human excitations of single person walking, three persons walking, single person jogging and three persons jogging were measured. The natural vibration frequency and peak acceleration of the composite slab under human excitations were gained. On the basis of verifying the accuracy of the finite element simulation results, the influence of the boundary conditions of the composite slab on its natural vibration frequency was analyzed, and the difference of natural vibration frequency between the composite slab and the cast-in-place slab was compared. The results indicate that the natural vibration frequency of the composite slab and the peak acceleration under human excitations meet the comfort limit value requirements of the code.Under the same conditions, the natural vibration frequency of the composite slab is the maximum under the boundary condition of four sides hinged support, and the minimum under the condition of two short sides hinged support. The error of natural vibration frequency between the composite slab and the cast-in-place slab is less than 14%,and there is little difference in comfort between the composite slab and the cast-in-place slab.
