By setting the anti-seismic performance target of the conjoined structure and paying attention to the continuous collapse resistance of the conjoined structure scheme, the technical and economic feasibility of four schemes of a large-span conjoined structure, namely large-span floor steel beam,large-span steel beam transfer,large-span vierendeel truss transfer and large-span solid web truss transfer, were discussed in detail. The analysis results show that the transfer scheme of large-span solid web truss is better in terms of material consumption and meeting the building demand. The continuous collapse resistance ability of the large-span steel beam transfer scheme is weak, followed by the large-span floor steel beam scheme, and the large-span truss transfer scheme has a better continuous collapse resistance ability. The continuous collapse resistance ability of the connecting part transfer truss can be further strengthened by setting a transverse connecting secondary truss between the main transfer trusses. The multi truss structure layout scheme is adopted for the structure at the connecting part, which meets the requirements of the conceptual design of "structure partition" for continuous collapse resistance, and can effectively control the range of continuous collapse.Due to the randomness and uncertainty of accidental action,it is necessary to expand the"component" of the method of resisting continuous collapse from important vertical component to important horizontal component. For planar or spatial structures like trusses,it is more reasonable to extend the "component" of the demolition component method to the "component group" of the load-bearing element.
