Detection method of wood crack based on acoustic emission multi-parameter coupling
In order to timely identify the damage of wood,it is necessary to evaluate the damage of wood.Therein, the depth of wood crack is one of the important indicators to evaluate the damage of wood, but its measurement method is a major difficulty, which needs to be solved urgently.Based on the attenuation law of acoustic emission multi-parameter(peak value, frequency center of gravity, energy)in fir cracks, weighted average method was applied to normalize acoustic emission multi-parameter,and a crack depth detection method based on acoustic emission multi-parameter coupling was proposed. The results show that the acoustic emission peak value, frequency center of gravity and energy have significant abrupt changes at the interface of wood with and without cracks.Furthermore, the proposed index based on acoustic emission multi-parameter coupling is greater than the threshold value at the interface, which can effectively detect the crack depth of wood.
