Experimental study on shear mechanical behavior of metal anchors for lifting and handling
In order to determine the feasible shear test method of metal anchors for lifting and handling(refer to embedded anchor)and provide the basis for reliable safety factor, the shear test of embedded anchor of concrete specimens with different sides of 100mm and 150mm was carried out.The shear mechanical behavior of the embedded anchor, the wedge failure angle was measured, the load-displacement curve was analyzed, and the relationship between the shear ultimate bearing capacity of the concrete wedge failure and the physical properties of the embedded anchor was investigated. The results show that the concrete wedge failure occurs in all the embedded anchor in the test, and the failure angle is close to that in the ideal condition. The diameter of the embedded anchor, the burial depth of the embedded hanging in concrete, the distance between the axis of embedded anchor and the vertical edge of the shear force are all positively correlated with shear ultimate bearing capacity.
