Design and experimental research of FRP rid modular clip anchor
Fiber reinforced polymer/plastic(FRP)materials is anisotropic material, and a new anchoring system needs to be developed for the characteristics of FRP.Different from the traditional FRP anchoring method, the FRP rib modular clip anchor uses the FRP rib,the porous sliced aluminum sleeve and the clip as a standard module, and which is pressed into the module mounting hole of the anchor cup.According to the actual working conditions, the number of module mounting holes on the anchor cup is increased or reduced,so as to meet the use requirements of the cable. The ANSYS Workbench finite element software was used to analyze internal cone inclination angle of the modular anchor, angle difference between the clip and the anchor cup, anchoring length, distance between the FRP rids, and pre-tightening force of the clip.A new type of modular anchorage was proposed, and anchoring performance of modular clip anchors through test methods. The results show that the method of using modular clip anchors to anchor FRP rids is reliable. The modular clip anchor developed in this paper has an anchoring efficiency of more than 90%,which is beneficial to anchoring design and reducing costs.
