The deep foundation pit project of Qingfeng Park station of Changzhou Metro Line 2 is taken as an example,the calculation model of foundation pit excavation under confined water conditions was established by finite element software.The numerical simulation method was used to study the stability of the foundation pit under the confined water and the influence of the surrounding environment deformation.The numerical calculation results were compared with the calculation results of the theoretical anti-surge of the foundation pit to obtain a reasonable critical thickness value of the aquifer for the foundation pit anti-surge.The results show that the critical thickness value of the aquifer calculated by the traditional method for the determination of the anti-surge pressure balance of the foundation pit is too large,while the critical thickness value of the aquifer obtained by the numerical simulation based on the strength failure is too small,the critical thickness value of the aquifer obtained by the numerical simulation criterion of foundation pit surge based on defomation control is reasonable.
