Fiber reinforced polymer material(FRP)is widely used in practical projects such as seismic reinforcement and structural reinforcement due to its light weight and high strength.However,there are few studies on FRP to enhance the horizontal bearing performance of concrete piles.In order to study the bearing performance of reinforced concrete piles with different FRP cloth materials,the horizontal load-bearing law of FRP cloth piles(wrapped with FRP cloth materials in the ordinary reinforced concrete pile body)was studied by indoor model test methods.The influence of different number of wrapping layers,different types of FRP cloth materials,and different mixed wrapping materials on the bearing performance of reinforced concrete piles was explored.Using ABAQUS software,three-dimensional finite element model of FRP piles was established,and numerical simulation for each working condition were performed.The results show that the horizontal load-bearing performance of FRP piles increases with the increase of the number of wrapping layers,and there is no direct proportional relationship between the lifting effect and the number of wrapping layers;among FRP piles of different cloth types,the lifting effect of CFRP cloth on the horizontal bearing performance is the best;the lifting effect of wrapping CFRP cloth and GFRP cloth together is slightly better than wrapping 2 layers of GFRP cloth.
