Renheng Century Mansion is a frame-double tubes structure with building height of 198m,the structural plane is dumbbell-shaped,it belongs to an out-of-code high-rise building with general irregular items such as torsion irregularity, floor discontinuity, local irregularity(partial cross-story column, individual component split-floor)and inclined column transfer, etc. The characteristics of the engineering structure and the overall seismic performance-based design process were introduced. The design difficulties such as the selection of the embedded end,the multi-angle seismic input, the cross-story inclined plate and the force analysis of the cross-story inclined column were discussed. The results show that the frame-double tubes structure adopted in this project has good seismic performance;it is appropriate to set the absolute fixed end and the nominal fixed end on the top of the foundation in the design;the double tubes arrangement of the tower does not lead to obvious strong and weak axes, and the structural response of multi-angle seismic input is close;the cross-story inclined plate of the podium has little influence on the overall force of the structure;the buckling stability failure of the inclined column will not occur, and the design of the inclined column tension beam after structural strengthening is safe and reliable.
