Based on the Regulations on seismic management of construction projects and the Standard for seismic isolation design of building(GB/T 51408-2021),a detailed seismic isolation design and analysis of a medical building located in a high-intensity seismic area was carried out.The project adopts frame-shear wall structure with 14 floors above ground, the isolation layer is located in the basement roof and the friction pendulum isolation bearing is proposed. The CCQC response spectrum analysis under the action of fortification earthquake was carried out by using YJK software, and the important parameters such as story shear ratio and inter-story displacement angle were studied. The elastic-plastic time-history analysis under rare earthquake was carried out by Paco-SAP software, and the seismic resistance of the superstructure under rare earthquake was evaluated. The results of seismic isolation analysis show that:the interlayer shear force of the structure under earthquake can be effectively reduced by using friction pendulum isolation bearing;the upper structure can be reduced by 1 degree according to the fortification intensity to take seismic measures;the inter-story displacement angle of each floor of each tower can meet the relevant requirements of the Standard for seismic isolation design of building(GB/T 51408-2021);under the action of rare earthquake, the maximum elastic-plastic inter-story displacement angle of the structure is less than 1/100,the extreme surface pressure of the isolation bearings and the displacement of the bearings can meet the requirements of the specification;the performance level of most members is between slight damage and light damage, and a few members are moderately damaged or above. The isolation structure basically can meet the performance goal of"no damage under moderate earthquake".
