Structural design of high area of Zhongyuan Cultural and Tourism City Happy World Phase Ⅰ
The structural system of high area of Zhongyuan Cultural and Tourism City Happy World Phase Ⅰ adopts giant steel frame,and there are irregularities and design difficulties such as structural torsion irregularities,missing floor slabs,large cantilever,vertical members discontinuity,and the steel truss platform is a heavy-duty large-span steel structure.Performance-based seismic design method was adopted in design and different performance objectives were adopted according to the importance of components.Four maga frame-columns are braced frame structures,and buckling restrained braces are used as braces,which makes the structure form a good yield mechanism and energy dissipation capacity under large earthquake.The elastic analysis of small earthquakes by response spectrum method,elastic time history analysis,elastic analysis of moderate earthquakes,and elastoplastic analysis of large earthquakes for the structure were carried out.The results that the seismic performance of the whole structure and its members can reach the expected goals of the design.The giant steel frame structural system adapts well to the actual situation of the project and can be used as a reference for similar projects.
