Study on stability and seismic performance of ellipsoidal single-layer grid shell
The single-layer grid shell has the mechanical characteristics of both thin shell structure and rod structure, which belongs to the defect-sensitive structure, and the structural stability plays a major controlling role.An ellipsoidal three-way grid-style single-layer mesh shell glass roof supporting structure was taken as the research object, and its elastic-plastic full-process stability analysis was carried out,and the overall stability coefficients of the ellipsoidal single-layer mesh shell under long and short axes half-span and full-span live-loading conditions were modeled and solved, and it is concluded from numerical analysis that the risk of the overall instability of the ellipsoidal single-layer mesh shell is higher than that of the half-span live-loading condition under the full-span live-loading condition, and the overall stability of the structure is not sensitive to the load asymmetrical distribution. In view of the importance of this project,in the analysis of the seismic capacity of the structure under different intensities, the seismic fortification target of the structure was raised to no structural buckling under strong earthquake during the seismic performance analysis of the structure.
