Research on uplift stability failure of large diameter reinforced concrete pipe jacking in soft soil stratum
Soft soil stratum is a kind of stratum that is difficult to deal with in pipe jacking construction.Because of low strength and large compression of the soil,it is easy to cause the stability failure of pipe.In order to study the mechanical characteristics of large diameter reinforced concrete pipe jacking in soft soil stratum during the development of pipe stability failure, based on the sewage pipe jacking project crossing Tangxun Lake in Wuhan, the axial strain of the pipe was monitored on-site,the force conditions of the test pipes when crossing the uplift stability failure area were studied, and the mechanism of the uplift stability failure of the pipes was analyzed.A method was proposed to determine the uplift stability failure of pipe.In addition, the treatment measures for uplift stability failure taken on site were summarized. The results show that the jacking force, grouting pressure, buoyancy force and pipe deflection angle are the main factors causing uplift stability failure in soft soil stratum. When the local pipes are uplifted, the stress concentration will appear at the bottom of the pipe, and the uplift value and the uplift area gradually increase as the jacking progresses.
