Study on diagnosis and treatment of concrete diseases containing poor stability steel slag aggregate
The concrete surface of a cast-in-place concrete high-rise residential project with steel slag was densely bulging and falling off.Through electron microscopy analysis, energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis and X-ray fluorescence analysis of the block samples and powder samples obtained from the site,it was determined that the reason for the concrete bulging was that the steel slag with poor stability was mixed into the concrete, and the typical microstructure and element composition of the steel slag with poor stability were obtained.Through the analysis and statistics of 236 bulging members, the carbonation depth, failure depth and failure surface diameter of this batch of concrete were determined, which provided data support for subsequent research. Finally, this paper proposes to improve the durability of the components by removing the steel slag and the surface layer, then hanging the steel wire mesh and spraying the high-strength polymer modified cement mortar. After the repair is completed, the house user is responsible for daily inspection. In the first five years,it is required to conduct regular comprehensive inspection once a year. After five years,it is required to conduct regular comprehensive inspection once every three years. If it is found that the repaired component has bulging phenomenon, qualified units should be invited to detect and deal with it in time.
