Study on shear behavior of industrial waste-cotton stalk fiber grouted block masonry
In order to study the shear behavior of industrial waste-cotton stalk fiber grouted block masonry, shear tests of 48 industrial waste-cotton stalk fiber grouted block masonry and 6 industrial waste-cotton stalk fiber ungrouted hollow masonry were carried out.The effects of masonry mortar compressive strength, core column compressive strength and preload on the failure characteristics, peak displacement and shear strength of grouted block masonry were explored, and the shear deformation performance of grouted block masonry was analyzed. The results show that with the increase of mortar compressive strength, core column compressive strength and preload, the shear strength and peak displacement of grouted block masonry can be improved in varying degrees, and the core column compressive strength and preload have the greater influence on the shear strength and peak displacement of masonry.Compared with the mortar part, with the increase of core column compressive strength, the core column part contributes more and more to the shear strength of masonry.Based on the beam type shear resistance model,a formula for calculating the shear strength of industrial waste-cotton stalk fiber grouted block masonry in the absence of pre-compression was proposed.According to the experiment results, the formula for calculating the shear strength of masonry under shear compression was fitted.
