Connected structure design of an out-of-code multi-tower in Wuhan
An out-of-code multi-tower connected structure in Wuhan is composed of six frame-core tube high-rise towers and six steel structures connected at different heights between each tower. The height of the high-rise tower structure is 139.5m and 108.0m respectively, and the span of the steel truss connected is 38.3m and 32.7m respectively. It belongs to the out-of-code high-rise connected structure with many irregularities. In view of this kind of complex connected structure,in order to investigate its seismic performance,a clear analysis idea was put forward, and the structural scheme, seismic performance design, wind tunnel test and strengthening measures for overrun were introduced in detail.YJK and MIDAS Building software were used to calculate and analyze the overall elasticity of the structure under the action of frequent earthquakes, and the elastic time history analysis was supplemented. The dynamic elastic-plastic analysis of rare earthquake was carried out by SAUSAGE software. The results show that the overall index of the structure meets the requirements of the specification and can achieve the preset seismic performance target.
